A woman fights to protect her family during a home invasion. With a few changes in the plot and characters it not wrong to say Breaking In is Panic Room (2002) but on a budget with bad acting and less thrilling. It good to waste time on but if you want quality in your home invasion flick choose Panic Room,Don't Breath or Hush Bad acting, bad story, bad thriller, bad everything. The screenplay by Ryan Engle (“Rampage,” “The Commuter”) squanders its potential for emotional depth, making Breaking In a serviceable, but indistinct product.
